This recipe is perfect for lazy Sunday afternoons and demands you enjoy it with a cup of tea, I could probably say that for a lot of things though! Using burnt honey instead of the usual golden syrup really adds to the flavour of the flapjack and turns them into something a bit special. It's hard to explain, so you'll just have to try this recipe!

Whats your favourite resturant and what should I order?
My current favourite restaurant is the Thali Cafe. It's just round the corner from my house and serves North or South Indian Thalis - it also operates a very good takeaway service where they fill a "tiffin" for
Your usual breakfast?
In the week it's a quick bite of toast as I value time in bed over breakfast. At the weekend I have a treat, which would be pancakes, scrambled, poached or boiled eggs - I'm the egg master.
Your ultimate comfort food?
I'm really fond of a nice Spaghetti Alla Carbonara as it's very quick to make (15 mins form start to finish) and tastes amazing. I have a very good recipe if you ask me.
What cookbooks should every member have?
Keith Floyd's Curries book is very good. If you're getting into cookery you can't go wrong with Jamie Oliver's books. If you like baking the Hummingbird Bakery cookbook is very good.
