My name is Rachel and I am an enthusiastic home cook, living in North London.

Any hobbies?

Cooking!!! With a bit of gardening (well my herb garden) on the side. Have just started a food blog to share my recipes and random bits of food knowledge over the years. Am an avid reader too, with a weakness for American detective novels and Georgette Heyer (don't tell!)

Whats your favourite resturant and what should I order?

Your usual breakfast?

RoastedtTomatoes on toast. Or blue cheese and honey on toast or sometimes a poached egg on marmite toast . . . and occasionally a veggie sausage (Linda McCartney by preference), With tea.

Your ultimate comfort food?

Well they say that within every cliche there is an element of truth . . . so Spag Bol or Macaroni Cheese. And if I am not feeling very well but can manage to raise myself from my sickbed to swallow a morsel of something sustaining . . . it has to be mashed up boiled egg in a cup with marmite soldiers. . . suddenly I am five years old again!
